Tata Docomo Internet
Some
times, We may find trouble to connect internet on our mobile devices. One of
the main reasons may be internet / GPRS settings. We can get Internet settings
from
our service provider company. But The Company sometimes fails to send the
settings to the particular Mobile. Myself too had issues with the internet
settings on my mobile. So in this topic I am going to tell you about Tata
Docomo Manual GPRS settings for all
mobile devices.
How
to setup Manual Tata Docomo Internet or GPRS settings for different type of mobile
devices are described here under.
For android Mobile
- Go to main Menu
- Select settings
- Select wireless and Network settings as Mobile network
- Select Data roaming /Pocket data
- Press Menu key and select New APN(access point name)
- Select Name and enter as : TATA DOCOMO INTERNET
- Set APN as : TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET
- Blank the proxy & port and username & password also
- Press menu key and save it
- Select TATA DOCOMO INTERNET as Default
- Your Android Mobile is ready for internet suffering.
For Nokia Mobile
- Go to main Menu and Select settings
- Go to Personal configuration settings
- Select Add new from available options
- Select web
- Enter Account name as : TATA DOCOMO INTERNET
- Enter home page URL as : www.google.com (you can enter different name as you like also)
- Blank username & password
- Select any Number from access point
- Select settings of the access point
- Set proxy as : Disable
- Select Bearer settings and set Data bearer as : packet data
- Set access point as : TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET
- Set Network Type as : IPv4
- Set Authentication type as : Normal
- Leave blank the Username and password
- Now go back and select TATA DOCOMO INTERNET, active it as default.
For Samsung Mobile
- Go to main Menu
- Select Internet
- Select setting for option
- Create new profile at there
- Set the name as : TATA DOCOMO INTERNET
- Set the Access Point Name as : TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET
- Set Authentication type as : Normal
- Blank the proxy & port and username & password also
- Set Protocol as : HTTP
- Enter home page URL as : www.google.com (you can enter different website as you like also.)
- Press menu key and save it
- Select TATA DOCOMO INTERNET as Default
For Sony Ericsson Mobile
- Go to main Menu
- Select Internet
- Select Internet setting and scroll down
- Select Account and Press ok
- Select create new and press OK
- Enter as : TATA DOCOMO INTERNET
- Then Highlight the TATA DOCOMO INTERNET and press option
- Select the Name and press Edit
- For select Preferred connect , scroll down and press edit
- Then Highlight the PS and press Select
- For select PS data , scroll down and press edit
- For select APN, scroll down and press edit
- Set APN as : TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET
- Press Back key and select Save.
- Highlight the TATA DOCOMO INTERNET and go back to Main Menu

For China Mobile
- Go to main Menu
- Select Connectivity
- Select Account Name and Edit in GPRS Menu as below
- Enter Account name as : TATA DOCOMO INTERNET
- Set APN as : TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET
- Set Authentication type as : Normal
- Leave blank the Username and password
- Save it and Go back to main
- Select WAP/services and select settings
- Select SIM card and Select Profiles
- Set Profile Name as you like
- Enter home page URL as : www.google.com (you can enter different website as you like also.)
- Select Account Name as TATA DOCOMO INTERNET(this is established in Sr. No. 4)
- Set Connection type as : HTTP
- Set IP Address as : 10.124.26.94 (if required)
- Set security as : Off
- Set this profile as Default
