Vodafone Internet Manual Settings for All Mobiles

There is a use of Internet on mobile devices, increase rapidly. Remember Friends, APN must required to access internet via mobile devices. APN means Access Point Name,
which is provided by services provider in the form of Internet or GPRS settings.
That means If you know APN of your  service provider you will never face any problem related to Internet Settings.  So at here I am giving you full details for APN and GPRS for Vodafone. I will teach you how to setup manual internet settings for Vodafone.

How to setup Manual Vodafone Internet or GPRS settings for different type of mobile devices are described here under.

For android Mobile

  1. Go to main Menu
  2. Select settings
  3. Select wireless and Network settings as Mobile network
  4. Select Data roaming / Pocket data
  5. Press Menu key and select New APN (access point name)
  6. Select Name and Enter as : Vodafone_gprs
  7. Set  APN as : portalnmms
  8. Blank the username & password
  9. Set Proxy as : 10.10.1.100 (It required in some devices only)
  10. Set Port as : 9401
  11. Set APN protocol as : IPv4
  12. Press menu key and save it
  13. Select Vodafone_gprs as Default
  14. Your Android Mobile is ready for internet suffering.

For Nokia Mobile


  1. Go to main Menu and Select settings
  2. Go to Personal configuration settings
  3. Select Add new from available options
  4. Select web
  5. Enter Account name as : Vodafone_gprs
  6. Enter home page URL as : www.google.com (you can enter different name as you like also)
  7. Blank username & password
  8. Select any Number from access point
  9. Select settings of the access point
  10. Set proxy as : Enable as 10.10.1.100
  11. Select Bearer settings and set Data bearer as : packet data
  12. Set access point  as : portalnmms
  13. Set Network Type as : IPv4
  14. Set Authentication type as : Normal
  15. Leave blank the Username and password
  16. Now go back and select Vodafone_gprs, active it as default. 

For Samsung Mobile


  1. Go to main Menu
  2. Select Internet
  3. Select setting for option
  4. Create new profile at there
  5. Set the name as : Vodafone_gprs
  6. Set the Access Point Name as : portalnmms
  7. Set Authentication type as : Normal
  8. Blank the username & password
  9. Set Proxy as : 10.10.1.100
  10. Set Port as : 9401
  11. Set Protocol as : HTTP
  12. Enter home page URL as : www.google.com (Enter different website as you like also.)
  13. Press menu key and save it
  14. Select Vodafone_gprs as Default 

For Sony Ericsson Mobile

  1. Go to main Menu
  2. Select Internet
  3. Select Internet setting and scroll down
  4. Select Account and Press ok
  5. Select create new and press OK
  6. Enter as : Vodafone_gprs
  7. Then Highlight the Vodafone_gprs and press option
  8. Select the Name and press Edit
  9. For select Preferred connect , scroll down and press edit
  10. Then Highlight the PS and press Select
  11. For select PS data , scroll down and press edit
  12. For select APN, scroll down and press edit
  13. Set  APN as : portalnmms
  14. Press Back key and select Save.
  15. Highlight the Vodafone_gprs and go back to Main Menu

For China Mobile

  1. Go to main Menu
  2. Select Connectivity
  3. Select Account Name and Edit in GPRS Menu as below
  4. Enter Account name as : Vodafone_gprs
  5. Set  APN as : portalnmms
  6. Set Authentication type as : Normal
  7. Leave blank the Username and password
  8. Set Port as : 8080 or 9401
  9. Save it and Go back to main
  10. Select WAP/services and select settings
  11. Select SIM card and Select Profiles
  12. Set Profile Name as you like
  13. Enter home page URL as : www.google.com (Enter different website as you like also.)
  14. Select Account Name as Vodafone_gprs (this is established in Sr. No. 4)
  15. Set Connection type as : HTTP
  16. Set IP Address as : 10.10.1.100 (If required)
  17. Set security as : Off
  18. Set this profile as Default.
